Senior Project Manager - Cloud/Infrastructure - London - 80K

Hybrid Model - 2 Days in Central London office per week, easily commutable from Liverpool Street / Moorgate / Barbican

Lorien's client, a leading provider of Cloud, Infrastructure and a variety of other transformational services/solutions to a range of clients and sectors, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their function and lead a portfolio of technology and Cloud-centric change projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead a team of professionals from varying disciplines to deliver technology-driven change, overseeing a range of projects from start to finish.
  • Establish and execute workstream delivery planning, ensuring it adheres to budgets, timelines, and agreed standards and processes.
  • Align and integrate activities across different workstreams, effectively managing interdependencies.
  • Take ownership of risk management, governance, and assurance, ensuring all procedures are followed with precision.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality in project delivery.

What They're Looking For:

  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrable experience managing large-scale IT projects, whether in Infrastructure or Application Development (ideally with multi-million budgets and medium to large scale teams).
  • Cloud Knowledge and Exposure: Experience delivering Cloud projects with AWS or Azure.
  • Project Planning Skills as well as proficiency in using relevant tools such as Trello/Airtable/etc. to organise and track project progress.
  • Delivery Methodologies: Familiarity with various delivery approaches and software development life cycles, including Agile, Waterfall, DSDM, and others.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial management capabilities with experience handling commercial and contractual matters, ensuring value is maximised from suppliers.
  • Client-Facing Experience: A proven ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, from clients to contractors and internal teams.
  • Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary teams that include engineering and tech specialists to deliver successful work packages.
