Senior Project Manager - Resource/Rostering Mgmt Solution

  • 3 mandatory days in the office – Central London, 2 WFH
  • 6 months initial contract
  • £500-£600 per day 

Our client is looking for a Rostering Lead, who will play a pivotal role in the procurement and delivery of a state-of-the-art Resource Management solution. This role is ideal for someone with subject matter expertise in police rostering processes and a desire to drive change within a complex and impactful programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on rostering tools/systems/software solutions from a technical perspective, advising on scalability, flexibility, compliance, reporting capabilities, system support, and security features.
  • Provide market insights, critically challenge current processes, and identify opportunities for simplification and automation.
  • Coordinate RM application scoping workshops with suppliers and business stakeholders.
  • Document customer processes and configuration requirements for the RM solution.
  • Shape requirements for procurement of new technical capability, ensuring integration with primary HR systems.
  • Work closely with Business Change Specialists across the programme to define and coordinate change activities.
  • Provide accurate and timely status reporting throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Post-procurement, manage the implementation and testing of the RM solution in line with the programme’s test strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with rostering systems and processes from a technical perspective.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to present proposals and progress effectively at all levels within the organisation.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing system implementations and testing.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to drive technical solutions in a complex environment.
