Job Title: UAT Lead ContractorDuration: Immediate start (Contract until February 2025)Client: A globally recognised network of assurance, tax, and consulting firms, specialising in delivering tailored solutions to middle-market organisationsOverview:On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced UAT Lead to support the Global Independence Assessment IT project. This role involves managing the full user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure alignment with the client's business objectives, comprehensive test coverage, and successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:* Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute the UAT test plan, defining objectives, scope, and approach. * Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and timelines, and communicate progress, issues, and results. * Test Design and Execution: Design, execute, and document test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough functionality testing. * Defect Management: Identify, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with the development team. * Risk Management: Proactively identify potential UAT risks and implement mitigation strategies. * User Training and Support: Train and support end-users during UAT execution. * Reporting and Documentation: Prepare UAT status reports and document lessons learned for future use. Requirements:* Proven experience as a UAT Manager or Lead in IT projects. * Strong skills in test planning, execution, and defect resolution. * Effective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Familiarity with testing tools and risk management methodologies. * Highly organised with attention to detail.
