This role involves managing the full user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure alignment with the client's business objectives, comprehensive test coverage, and successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:* Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute the UAT test plan, defining objectives, scope, and approach. * Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and timelines, and communicate progress, issues, and results. * Test Design and Execution: Design, execute, and document test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough functionality testing. * Defect Management: Identify, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with the development team. * Risk Management: Proactively identify potential UAT risks and implement mitigation strategies. * User Training and Support: Train and support end-users during UAT execution. * Reporting and Documentation: Prepare UAT status reports and document lessons learned for future use. Requirements:* Proven experience as a UAT Manager or Lead in IT projects. * Strong skills in test planning, execution, and defect resolution. * Effective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Familiarity with testing tools and risk management methodologies. * Highly organised with attention to detail.
