Job Title: Senior Test Engineer
Duration : 3 Months
Location: Central London (Hybrid -3 Days a week)
Day Rate: £500 (Inside IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our medical devices team in London. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test solutions for our connected medical device platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated test solutions for medical device software
- Determine systems software design requirements and testing strategies
- Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented to increase efficiency
- Generate testing policies, standards, and procedures
- Work across various software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software test engineering
- Strong expertise in test automation development using Python
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or Espresso
- Experience testing Android, Linux, and internet-connected devices
- Knowledge of API testing (REST) and inter-process communication (IPC)
- Experience with WebUI testing and over-the-air (OTA) updates
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
