Description
The successful Senior Test Manager will be responsible for:
- Liaising with developers and project managers, ensuring the timely delivery of the multiple projects.
- Developing and own the overarching test strategy and approach.
- Defining and implement robust test plans, schedules, and resource allocation for multiple workstreams.
- Overseeing and coordinate all phases of testing (Unit, SIT, UAT, Performance, Regression, and End-to-End).
- Lead a diverse team of testers, both internal and external, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensuring all testing activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, particularly in the finance sector.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating testing risks, ensuring minimal impact on programme delivery.
Profile
The successful Senior Test Manager will possess:
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Manager on large-scale, complex Finance Transformation programmes, ideally IFRS17 and/or IFRS9.
- Strong knowledge of finance systems (e.g D365, Aptitude) and an understanding of finance processes (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FP&A).
- Expertise in defining and managing test strategies, plans, and execution across multiple workstreams.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing and motivating large, diverse testing teams.
- Proficient in testing tools and frameworks, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement (e.g., DevOps, JIRA).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior executives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to finance transformation projects.
Job Offer
£600 - £800 per day (rate to umbrella) dependent on experience
This role will require travel to the clients offices in London on a frequent basis and cannot be offered as remote
