Rate: £130 - £160 p/d

My client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with proven experience managing complex network and security projects, including LAN/WAN, WLAN, Voice, and Security technologies.

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management:
    • Plan, execute, and oversee projects involving network infrastructure and security systems.
    • Develop and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure deliverables align with project objectives and client expectations.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Manage relationships with multiple vendors, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and resolve issues.
    • Manage and monitor vendor deliverables to insure adherence to project requirement and timelines.
  • Technical Oversight:
    • Work closely with engineering teams to deploy LAN/WAN, WLAN, Voice, and Security solutions.
    • Ensure projects meet technical and security standards while addressing operational needs.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to network and security deployments.
  • Communication & Reporting:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
    • Facilitate meetings to ensure alignment across teams and address project concerns.
    • Prepare detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Address challenges promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing projects involving LAN/WAN, WLAN, Voice, and Security technologies.
  • Expertise in working with multiple vendors and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management at a senior level both internally and externally
  • Ability to innovate to resolve complex problems
  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
  • Experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEMs).
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
