My client in Greater London is looking to appoint talented SOC / SIEM Project Manager on a Contract basis.

This role will implement a managed SOC/SIEM solution and a Backup as a Service (BaaS)/Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solution for the Council

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

  • Oversee the implementation of a managed SOC/SIEM solution and a BaaS/DRaaS solution for the council.
  • Develop and manage project plans, and timelines, to ensure successful delivery of security solutions.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders, including IT, security, emergency planning and council departments, to ensure project alignment with organisational goals.
  • Work across the organisation to ensure that the business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) plans in the ICT area meet the needs of the business, and that there is clarity and agreement over the BCDR requirements and responsibilities that must be met by other services.

About you:You will have the following experiences:

  • Proven experience in infrastructure project management, particularly in security system and tools implementation.
  • Strong understanding of SOC/SIEM and BaaS/DRaaS solutions and requirements
  • Experience working within a UK local government context, including understanding of statutory requirements and standards.
  • Commercial and procurement awareness and experience of contract managing delivery of a project by a supplier
  • Local Authority experience is essential.
