IT Security Administrator: Job Purpose:

Secondment to work for a key customer as part of our managed security service. The customer is in London and the scope of work is for London and EMEA business

  • Liaise with customer's IT teams in EMEA for IT security matters to support compliance with the company’s global security policy.
  • Liaise with EMEA IT team to improve IT security by managing corrective action plans and executions as per audit findings.
  • Review and update EMEA IT security policy to be in line with the global security policy.
  • Provide IT security advice and guidance to the IT team.
  • Carry out access log review and organise improvement where necessary.
  • Organise and provide security training to staff.
  • Correspond with staff for security matters.
  • Document the security process.
  • Support the security incident response.
  • Regular and weekly communications with the customer line manager to update and prioritise task progress.
  • Regular and weekly communications with the management team for technical support, information and task status sharing and escalation
  • Ad hoc requests from your line manager.

IT Security Administrator - Skills you need:

  • Proven record in strong communication to manage security activities.
  • Experience in IT security administration such as documentation, audit and incident evidence collections,
  • Windows and AV log review.
  • Experience in organisational security administration such as corrective action management, document management, security training, incident report writing and interviews with potential offenders.
  • General IT system knowledge in Windows AD, Anti-Virus, MS365 as a user.
  • Ability to appreciate challenges and to learn fast.
  • Task management and tracking issues
  • Flexible working ethic to meet customer's expectation.
