A leading bank are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Analytics Lead to spearhead the Digital & Non-Plastics Fraud Strategy and Rules Management. This role will play a pivotal part in defining, optimizing, and implementing fraud prevention strategies across digital channels, alternative payment methods, and non-card-based transactions.

THE ROLE

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fraud prevention strategy for digital and non-plastics fraud, leveraging advanced analytics and industry best practices.
  • Design, implement, and fine-tune fraud rules and models to detect and mitigate fraudulent activities while minimizing false positives.
  • Monitor fraud trends, emerging threats, and attack vectors to proactively adjust fraud prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with data science, technology, operations, and product teams to enhance fraud detection capabilities and improve customer authentication processes.
  • Optimize fraud detection tools and platforms, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in combating evolving fraud patterns.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and performance reviews of fraud detection rules, refining them to balance fraud prevention and customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in fraud strategy, analytics, or risk management within financial services, fintech, or a related industry.
  • Expertise in digital fraud trends, including account takeover, synthetic identity fraud, and non-card fraud schemes.
  • Strong knowledge of fraud detection tools, machine learning models, and rule-based systems.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
