Information Security Architect - London - £90,000

A successful and reputable organisation within the transportation industry are looking to grow the architecture function by adding an experienced Information Security Architect to the team. You will be joining a business at a critical point in their transformation journey after they have heavily invested in IT over the past 3 years.

You will be given the autonomy and responsibility to develop the organisations InfoSec strategy. You will become a focal part of the team for all things security and will be given the platform to become a vital part of the organisations ongoing success.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

  • Design and architect solutions that will be embedded within the organisations current IT structure
  • Lead the development of the InfoSec strategy, focusing on SOC, SIEM, and EDR systems
  • Take the lead on governance, risk and compliance activities across the business
  • Enhance the security framework around applications and cloud-based services

This is a hybrid role where you will work from the organisation's office in Central London on a weekly basis. There will also be occasional visits to some of the other offices of the organisation within the UK. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £90,000 per annum depending on experience. There is also a company benefits package which includes generous holiday allowance, performance related bonus and private healthcare.

To be successful in this role you will have.

  • Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks
  • Experience leading security initiatives within a large-scale organisation
  • Strong leadership experienced focused around governance, risk and compliance practices
  • Experience working with cloud-based systems - ideally Azure
