Robert Half is supporting Protiviti in recruiting an experienced InfoSec Consultant for a high-profile assignment for their financial services organisation. This role requires extensive experience in establishing and operationalising information security policies and frameworks within complex, unstructured environments.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: February 2025
- Contract Duration: Initially 3 Months but with view of further extension
- Location: Hybrid in th eCity of London c.2-3 days on site is required
- Daily Rate via PAYE: £600-£650 per day (with employer's NI and tax deducted unlike Umbrella companies).
Role Objectives:
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust InfoSec policies and frameworks tailored to Protiviti's needs.
- Support the transition from on-premises infrastructure to Azure, ensuring security and compliance throughout the process.
- Provide hands-on expertise in managing sensitive information and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
- Deliver practical solutions to enhance information security maturity.
Experience Required:
- Proven track record with extensive InfoSec information security experience, ideally within the financial services sector.
- Expertise in designing and embedding InfoSec policies, frameworks, and governance structures in environments lacking maturity or structure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, particularly in transitioning from on-premises to Azure (highly desirable).
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services, including GDPR, DORA, and other applicable frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with C-level executives.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, highly sensitive environment.
