Security Architect
9 Month Contract
Inside IR35
Hybrid (London)

We are looking for a Security Architect to join one of our Central Government client's to improve the security of their platforms and services.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and improve platform security
  • Develop security policies and recommend improvements after incidents
  • Champion risk-based, outcome-driven security architecture
  • Promote best practices for secure, resilient solutions
  • Facilitate team meetings and incident reviews
  • Manage team processes and communicate risks to management
  • Foster positive communication within and across teams
  • Build relationships with security teams across government
  • Coach colleagues on security practices

Ideal Candidate:

  • Deep expertise in security technologies and systems
  • Experience designing security for complex enterprise solutions in AWS
  • Knowledge of network protection (firewalls, gateways, antivirus)
  • Strong background in authentication/authorisation (SAML, AD, LDAP, OIDC, OAuth)
  • Proficiency with cryptographic frameworks (PKI, digital signatures, TLS/mTLS)
  • Ability to conduct threat modeling and identify security requirements
  • Experience with container security (EKS, Kubernetes RBAC)
  • Familiarity with DLP solutions
  • Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, NCSC, OWASP)
  • Experience with SIEM tools and threat detection systems
