Service & Maintenance Engineer – London (M25 & Surrounding) – £44,000 - £48,000 Per Annum (OTE £55k+)

Package Overview:

  • Basic Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience) + Overtime (OTE £55k+)
  • Full-Time, Permanent Position
  • Location: Field-based, covering London (primarily within the M25) and occasional travel across the UK & Europe

Company Overview – Service & Maintenance Engineer (CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Systems)

Our client are an independent, privately-owned company with over 25 years of experience in the design, installation, maintenance, and support of high-level security systems including IP CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms.

We act as a trusted security partner to clients across the financial, retail, hospitality, and education sectors, delivering cutting-edge technology, expert support, and a superior client experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, fault-finding, callouts, and repairs for CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems
  • Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
  • Providing remote and on-site technical support
  • Conducting user training
  • Handling small installation/upgrade works
  • Participating in an on-call rota (1 in 5)
  • Performing software and firmware upgrades
  • Working across various high-end client sites

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
    • Access Control Systems: Gallagher, Avigilon, Paxton, Maxxess
    • IP CCTV Systems: Avigilon, Milestone, Hanwha, IDIS
    • Intruder Systems: Texecom, Galaxy
    • IP Networks and Configuration
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
