Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Architect
Contract Duration: (3 months, possible extension to 6 months)
Rate: 600 per day (Umbrella)
Location: London (5 days on-site)
Role Overview:
The Senior Infrastructure Architect will design and implement infrastructure solutions, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. This role involves creating architecture proposals, high and low-level designs, and working closely with various teams to gain project approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement infrastructure standards and best practices.
- Create infrastructure designs that meet business needs and align with technology roadmaps.
- Ensure third-party solutions meet requirements and strategies.
- Analyse current technology to identify and recommend improvements.
- Manage capacity planning and infrastructure audits.
- Coach and advise technology teams on infrastructure matters.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong skills in infrastructure architecture across software, infrastructure, and networks.
- Experience in designing solutions for Private Cloud, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure), Digital Workplace (O365, Virtual Desktop), and Infrastructure Management.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Technical Development Background:
Responsible for developing, testing, and releasing technology solutions, including third-party products and bespoke software. Accountabilities include end-to-end solution delivery, rapid prototyping, and third-party supplier assurance.
