My client in Central London is looking to appoint talented Cyber Security Project / Assurance Manager on a Contract basis.

This role will lead on a number of Cyber Security project and initiatives, including the roll-out of staff cyber awareness training, partnership working and championing the Council's Cyber strategy and adherence to the CAF.

About the role:

Based in Central London (Remote):

  • Own the rollout, uptake, and staff compliance of cyber awareness training.
  • Become conversant with the Council's cyber security strategy, the NCSC CAF, and council adherence to the CAF.
  • Work with the council's shared services technology partner (STS) on all cyber security initiatives, as well as the council's 3rd party application vendors.
  • Develop programme and project plans for identified initiatives and audits.

About you:You will have the following experiences:

  • Prince 2, Agile Safe, SCRUM, MSP.
  • 5 years or more of project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey security policies and procedures to staff and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage and guide teams in implementing security initiatives.
  • Local Authority experience is highly desired.

  • Salary: £500 per day, inside IR35
