Cyber Security Project Manager

  • Contract (6 months with likely extension)
  • £550-650 per day
  • Inside IR35
  • Remote with occasional trips to London (once a month, not expensed)

This role would suit a Cyber Security Project Manager who has worked in complex environment, and has had end to end experience maturing a cyber security function.

Objectives:

  • Manage delivery of select cyber security initiatives (these will vary phase by phase), including strategic steer, day-to-day oversight and prioritisation of team deliverables, and resolution of blockers or escalation of issues to ensure continued delivery at pace.
  • Lead initiative-specific governance (e.g., weekly problem-solving sessions). This will include identification of highest priority topics for discussion and preparation of structured materials to support an effective and efficient session.
  • The individual in this role shall also lead on reporting for the specific initiatives, including progress reporting, financial reporting, RAID reporting (and logging in ServiceNow), etc. Ad hoc reports may also be required for senior stakeholder briefings (e.g., CDIO, CTrO, GE) as required.
  • Identify key stakeholders for each of the initiatives and manage the relationship with them effectively, engaging them at the right level and to the right extent.
  • This deliverable may include, for example, leading on specific working sessions to present work-in-progress outputs and aligning on changes required.
  • Coach and mentor the project team to ensure continued focus on professional development.
