Head of Identity Access Management (IAM)

Salary: Up to 125k + bonus (DOE/Competitive)

Our client is a global bank that operates in the financial services sector. They are currently looking for a Head of Identity Access Management to come and spearhead their IAM/PAM Solutions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive identity and access management (IAM) strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that IAM systems and processes are designed, implemented, and maintained to meet business requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Define and enforce technical standards for IAM, aligned with security standards, and put in place monitoring and enforcement solutions.
  • Conduct regular assessments of IAM infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Collaborate with network engineering teams to implement secure IAM designs and configurations. Define and oversee access controls and segmentation strategies.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement IAM tools and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Manage relationships with IAM vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet the organization's security requirements.
  • Regularly report to senior management and the board on the status of the organization's IAM program, including risks, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Significant experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex identity and access management (IAM) services.
  • In-depth knowledge of IAM principles, processes, and technologies.
  • Extensive experience in privileged account provisioning and deprovisioning, including managing privileged access management (PAM) solutions.
  • Proven expertise in user access governance and privileged access governance, including the development and implementation of related processes and controls.
  • Strong background in developing and maintaining comprehensive IAM reporting and analytics to provide visibility into program performance.
