Cyber Incident Management - Public Sector - SC/DV Clearance - 6 month contract (inside IR35)I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Incident Manager / Coordinator with background in Cyber Security for a government organisation. Flexibility to work 3 days onsite in one of their key locations in South East England or Scotland is expected.Due to the urgency and nature of the role, candidates who hold sole British nationality and current SC clearance (with willingness to obtain DV clearance) are preferred.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have

  • Previously worked in an Incident Management capacity with strong knowledge of Cyber Security incident resolution
  • Experience of SANS LDR553 - Incident Management or equivalent
  • ServiceNow, Incident Management tools and Cyber Security tools experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to quickly assess, identify root cause and deliver actionable solutions
  • Previous experience of coordinating tasks to ensure all incidents are managed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Make accurate risk assessments to minimise impact of live incidents to the business
  • Use trends and root cause analysis to suggest improvements to prevent future events / risks.
