Technical Project Manager (Red Team Security) Remote UK to £55k

Are you a tech savvy Project Manager with a fist class education looking to progress your career?

You could be joining a hugely talented team at a rapidly expanding scale-up software house that is developing a highly complex network cyber security platform; the platform monitors network protocols in real-time, parses the commands and data structures to extract key metadata which is then analysed by in-house algorithms and allows customers to detect hackers, malware, data leakage and other malicious activity.

As a Technical Project Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the Penetration Testing team, managing the operational and administrative aspects, including interacting with clients to schedule testing and feedback on results. You'll create detailed documentation, liaising with clients to scope and schedule tests, maintaining the team's schedule and ensuring projects are on track, enabling the technical team to focus on delivering high quality security testing.

You can work from home from anywhere in the UK, collaborating colleagues remotely.

About you:

  • You're degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science or closely related discipline from a top tier university
  • You have strong technical Project Management experience within a Cybersecurity, IT or other software product environment
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable liaising with clients and business stakeholders
  • You have advanced analysis and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • You have a good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, ideally including penetration testing / ethical hacking and are keen to expand your knowledge
