IT Applications Support Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Applications Support Engineer Analyst to start ASAP on an initial 6 month contract. This is for an immediate start. 

Hybrid working

6 months + long term extension 

Skills/Experience

  • 5+ Years min. in an IT Applications Support role
  • Strong business application knowledge
  • Logical troubleshooting capability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Ability to take part in workshops with business users to gather requirements for changes within applications
  • Quality and objective analysis of data and process
  • Understanding of SQL, Power BI and API’s
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages, Office, Visio and Project
  • Good Configuration skills
  • Follow processes and documentation Manage workload and helpdesk tickets using internal helpdesk system
  • Able to work with Application providers and ensure smooth running of systems and SLA's are adhered to
  • Deliver key areas of internal changes ie online documents, workflows & products
  • Continuously review & improve application support processes and ensure that documentation is kept updated
