Desktop Support Analyst (Mac & Windows) - City of London - £35-38k + Excellent Benefits

About the role

We are looking for someone to join our Technology team as a Desktop Support Engineer.

This is a great opportunity if you have technical acumen and want to join the ever-evolving event convergence team! We are looking for a skilled IT Level 2 Desktop Support professional, Ideally you will have extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting Mac and Windows environments, DNS, DHCP, MS Office packages, Intune, and ITIL / Change Management processes. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Our office is located in Shoreditch, East London, and you will be required to be i the office daily.

Role requirements:

  • Provide Level 2 support for desktop and laptop issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Manage and troubleshoot Mac and Windows operating systems and applications.
  • Troubleshoot basic DNS and DHCP
  • Support and administer Microsoft Office 365 packages
  • Utilise Microsoft Intune for end point device management and security
  • Follow ITIL best practices for incidents, requests and change management
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of desktop hardware and software
  • Document and track issues using our service desk system (Freshworks)
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
  • Provide training and support to end-users as needed.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a Level 2 desktop support role
  • Strong knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems and troubleshooting
  • Confident managing and organising Active directory and its objects
  • Experience with DNS and DHCP configuration and management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using ServiceDesk ticketing solutions
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
