IT Support AnalystFull Time | City of London | Office Based£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Is this the IT Support Analyst role for you?

Crone Corkill are partnering with an international Bank as they look to add an IT Support Analyst to the IT team. Working within a close-knit team, you'll be key in providing all levels of IT Support, however your primary focus will be 2nd/3rd Line. The most important aspects of the role centre on Windows/Microsoft tech, VMware expertise and Infrastructure Support. There are no hybrid working options in this role.

In order to be considered for this hire, it is essential that you have relevant experience working in the Banking or Financial Services industry.

What will you do as an IT Support Analyst?

  • Act as an escalation point for 1st Line and resolve 2nd & 3rd Line issues
  • Ensure all users can access the environment and all applications and services are available, up and running
  • PC Desktop, Laptop and Windows Server Configuration, SCCM, Mobile Device Management, MS Application Support and O365 Administration & Support
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure products are installed, configured and integrated to meet user needs
  • Ensure IT Security policies are abided by, security is monitored and alerts/incidents are responded to
  • Onboard/offboard users, complete internal user moves, allow access rights and ensure the correct licenses are issued
  • Assist in the removal of legacy systems and implementation of a new core Banking system

What skills do you need to be an IT Support Analyst?

  • Relevant experience working in the Banking industry or similar Financial Sector fields
  • Expertise across the Microsoft stack (Microsoft 365, MDM, OS, protocols etc)
  • Windows 10/11
  • Windows Server
  • VMware (Dynamic Environment Manager/Horizon desirable)
  • VMware Disaster Recovery
  • Entra/AAD and Active Directory (GPO/Registry/ADFS)
  • Software and hardware troubleshooting
  • Assisting with InfoSec policy adherence and incident response
  • VIP/White Glove Support
  • Experience being involved in projects
  • Temenos T24 (advantageous)
  • Some form of experience with Python, PowerShell and/or SQL (desirable)
