What you'll do:
As an IT Support Specialist, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth computer operations across the international offices. You will provide direct technical support to users, handling both software and hardware related issues. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be utilised as you troubleshoot various technical issues including those related to network devices, printers, and smartphones. You will also handle escalated tickets from the Help Desk while maintaining a high level of customer service. Additionally, you will participate in various IT projects and assist with user training on technology aspects. Your role will also involve maintaining an accurate equipment inventory.
* Provide direct technical support (Level 1 and Level 2) for computer system users in the office.* Support and troubleshoot both computer and telecommunications-related issues: software, hardware, network devices, printers, and smartphones.* Handle tickets escalated from the Help Desk in a timely manner. Provide follow-up to users after initial visit.* Take part in Business As Usual (BAU) tasks and projects as assigned by the IT Support Manager.* Assist with training system users as required on all aspects of computer Technology.* Maintain accurate equipment inventory by following policies.
