Who You'll Be Working for: International IT company

Desktop/Techbar IT Support - Responsibilities:

  • Provide English language support to colleagues across UK & EMEA Region with awareness of and consideration to differing cultures and/or languages.
  • Provide cover to the client's IT support contact number, answering calls, creating tickets, and escalating as required.
  • Provide support to walk-up and email requests, dealing with tickets, and escalating as required.
  • Administer various IT environment (i.e., PC build and configuration, Application software, SCCM, Printing)
  • Liaise, coordinate and monitor the escalation to 3rd level support groups.
  • Provide primary support to video conferencing environment.
  • Perform daily checks of office printer environment, logging tickets and escalating to 3rd level resolver groups when exceptions are identified.
  • Perform daily checks of conference and meetings rooms (including VTC rooms), logging tickets and escalating to 3rd level resolver groups when exceptions are identified.

Desktop/Techbar IT Support - Requirements:

  • Bilingual Japanese and English - Essential
  • Previous experience in 2nd line IT support role
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, VPNs etc
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management
