Role Overview:As a Trainee IT Support professional, you will be the first point of contact for technical assistance within the organisation. You will support users, troubleshoot issues, and assist in maintaining our IT systems. Working alongside our experienced IT team, you will gain the essential skills required to build a rewarding career in IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to IT support requests from employees, both remotely and in person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with setting up new user accounts, devices, and applications.
  • Help maintain and support IT equipment, including laptops, printers, and office devices.
  • Learn and apply IT support processes and industry best practices.
  • Accurately document issues, solutions, and updates in our helpdesk system.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on ongoing projects and technical enhancements.

Skills & Attributes:

  • No prior IT experience required, but a strong interest in technology is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an advantage.
  • Organised with great attention to detail.
