We are seeking an experienced Swift Payments Application Specialist to join our team. This role requires someone with strong Application Support experience on Swift infrastructure, providing procedural and technical support to internal and external stakeholders. The specialist will take ownership of issues, manage incidents and outages to resolution.

Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for Swift Payments and Swift Messaging applications to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Offer second- and third-line application support for Swift-related infrastructure.

  • Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolutions in a timely manner.

  • Perform system analysis and implement new Swift-related applications and updates.

  • Ensure compliance with ITIL standards for incident and change management.

  • Serve as the liaison between the technology department and business teams to communicate system updates and changes.

  • Maintain and update technical documentation, including workflows and system processes.

  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee system upgrades and implementations.

  • Monitor and report on Swift transaction volumes and system performance.

Profile

Skills and Experience:
  • Strong experience in Swift Payments and Swift Messaging infrastructure.

  • Solid background in Windows and Linux/Unix OS, including one of the following: SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle.

  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)

  • Proven ability to work under high-pressure conditions with a structured and analytical approach.

  • Experience in financial services, preferably in payments, settlements, or treasury operations.

  • Understanding of ITIL framework and change management processes.

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Experience in technical onboarding of new APIs and systems.

  • Desirable: Knowledge of Fix Messaging protocol and market connectivity protocols for global financial institutions.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in Swift Payments, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Job Offer
