About the Role:

We are on the lookout for a Microsoft Exchange Administrator to become a key member of our client's IT team located in central London.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Microsoft Exchange Administrator with the ability to think outside the box. The successful candidate will be a part of a strong IT team which provides IT support to 700+ users across many branches in London along with administration of all Windows Systems and Servers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will be a part of a strong IT team and provide IT support to users across many branches in London along with administration of all Windows Systems and Servers.

Technical Skills Required:
  • Experience in On-Premise and Online Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 and above
  • Experience in planning, migrating and implementing O365 migration
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange servers and clusters
  • Design, install and configure Microsoft Exchange High Availability/DAG
  • Testing and administration of all Exchange Servers, Hub Transport Servers and CAS servers
  • Excellent command in using Exchange PowerShell and ECP
  • Resolve technical issues relating to Exchange servers and databases
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly backups using Veritas and Veeam Backup and Replication
  • Assist in formulation of technical architectural guidelines
  • Support team members in security and troubleshooting of Active Directory and other applications
  • Maintain disk space and file system management
  • Implement procedures for determination of risks and mitigation plans in various upgrade and implementation programmes
  • Designate and train team members who can act as backup System Administrators
  • Take preventive or corrective action to resolve any technical issue that may arise
  • Maintain technical design and documentation for all exchange servers, installed applications, patches and troubleshooting steps
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as and when required
Key Skills Required:

In addition to the above technical skills, you should possess:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) with ability to develop relationship with a multifunctional and multicultural team.
  • Ability to think creatively, to seek and accept change and continuous improvement and a willingness to work to quality standards and procedures
  • High level of drive, enthusiasm and focus on the achievement of goals
  • Possess logical and analytical approach to fault finding.
  • Must be self-motivated with ability to work on your own and also as part of a team.
