Join a dynamic educational environment as a Senior IT Technician/Network Manager. In this role, you will manage network systems, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and support both staff and students to ensure the efficient and effective running of IT systems at a prominent school in South West London.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving IT issues promptly and effectively.
- Manage and maintain the school's hardware, software, and network systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot various educational technologies and equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and data through regular updates and backups.
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to integrate technology into classroom activities.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or Network Manager, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and system administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with educational technologies and classroom integration.
- Knowledge of IT security practices and data protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
