We are looking for a contractor with experience in commercial finance and revenue operations to build out Tableau reporting and long-range forecasting models.
The role will be initially a 3 month contract outside of IR35, hybrid offered (3 days in the office)
The role requires working with Salesforce data and other data sources, ensuring reports and models are fit for purpose, scalable, and usable by commercial teams.
Main responsibilities:
- Tableau Reporting & Data Integration
- Build interactive Tableau dashboards for ARR, NRR, and GRR analysis (historical & forecast).
- Integrate Salesforce data and other formats into Tableau for accurate reporting.
- Ensure reports are structured for long-term usability and can be picked up by others in the future.
- Optimize dashboard performance, data governance, and security. 2. Forecast Model Development (Google Sheets)
- Rebuild forecast models in Google Sheets for commercial teams, allowing for scenario analysis.
- Ensure models are intuitive, well-structured, and easy to use.
- Work with commercial teams to improve long-range forecasting, using the data they have.
- Design forecasting tools that can be maintained and iterated on in the future. 3. Cross-Platform Integration & Automation
- Learn and implement the required code or integrations to link Tableau with Google Sheets.
- Where needed, automate data flows between Salesforce, Tableau, and forecasting models. 4. Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with finance, revenue operations, and commercial teams to ensure reporting meets business needs.
- Provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer so that future teams can maintain and extend the work.
