Responsibilities:
- Work with business solution teams to gather improvement ideas and define reporting requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear insights into business performance.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure the delivery of actionable insights and automated recurring reports for improved efficiency.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and data quality across all reporting systems.
- Troubleshoot reporting systems and address any issues that arise.
- Create ad-hoc reports to drive informed business decisions.
- Write training manuals and technical documentation for reporting processes.
- Uphold health and safety standards in your work environment.
- Perform any other tasks as required by management.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Analyst, specifically in report development, data modeling, and DAX functions.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in writing complex queries.
- Strong skills in data extraction, transformation, and analysis from multiple sources.
- Knowledge of data governance practices and best practices in data management.
- Experience working with API integrations, Azure Data Lake, and cloud services.
- Ability to visualize data and deliver impactful insights to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
