Responsibilities:

  • Work with business solution teams to gather improvement ideas and define reporting requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear insights into business performance.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure the delivery of actionable insights and automated recurring reports for improved efficiency.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and data quality across all reporting systems.
  • Troubleshoot reporting systems and address any issues that arise.
  • Create ad-hoc reports to drive informed business decisions.
  • Write training manuals and technical documentation for reporting processes.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in your work environment.
  • Perform any other tasks as required by management.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Analyst, specifically in report development, data modeling, and DAX functions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience in writing complex queries.
  • Strong skills in data extraction, transformation, and analysis from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of data governance practices and best practices in data management.
  • Experience working with API integrations, Azure Data Lake, and cloud services.
  • Ability to visualize data and deliver impactful insights to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
