NEWLY created Senior Finance Systems Analyst role now available and US law firm. This role is the first Systems focused hire for the firm in London as the London office continues to grow, the firm need dedicated support on the groundThe role will be reporting into the Finance Systems Manager in the US but will work closely with the senior leadership team in London. As the Senior Finance Systems Analyst you will be supporting the London office and will be a mix of BAU and project work.

This is a great opportunity to take on a lead role for London with the backing of a large global US firm. You will have lots of visibility across the business and will get a really broad range of experience/ coverage within the Elite 3e platform. Elite 3e experience is essential for this role and the successful person will need to be comfortable working autonomously.Specific duties include:

  • Provide support for the Firm's financial systems, including, but not exclusive to, billing and accounting, budget, procure-to-pay, and expense reporting applications. Collaborate closely with IT and other business departments when supporting system integrations.
  • Participate in data validation and system testing; perform data analysis to investigate issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of training and change management plans.
  • Drive all phases of business process and related technology improvements, including developing and executing on project plans that will lead to successful implementation of these initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, business requirements gathering and documentation, assisting in the evaluation of technology solutions, developing solution alternatives and recommendations, building test plans, and collaborating with developers.
  • Utilize creative and analytical thinking to develop solution alternatives and recommendations; work with business leads to build trust with the business owners by delivering a constant stream of new innovation ideas that fit within finance strategies.
  • Perform project management duties for smaller scale business process improvements and other Finance project initiatives.

Experience needed:

  • Proven hands-on experience with large scale financial management systems, preferably with Elite Enterprise or Elite 3E.
  • Process improvement experience with a global, multi-currency, multi- jurisdictional law firm or professional services firm.
  • The ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision in imperative.
  • Knowledge and/or an interest in developing SQL skills, including the creation of queries and transforming data into reporting and analytics, is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are required and the individual must be proactive and results oriented.
