Systems Analyst/ Developer

We are currently hiring for a Systems Analyst/ Developer with strong 3rd party vendor experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Remote- AdHoc travel to London office

Responsibilities:

  • Gather technical documents from multiple stakeholders to undertake a gap analysis and make recommendations for technical documentation uplift.
  • Review technical documentation for accuracy and suitability to support Operational Acceptance in line with the technical standards.
  • Support development of technical resilience processes
  • Develop and coordinate testing regimes to ensure resilience processes and/or technical capability is fit for purpose.
  • Liaising with Solution Architects and the Development team to document IT architecture and operating context.
  • Document technical requirements for third-party application uplift and/or replacement.
  • Establish strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively looks for ways to improve operational efficiency whilst engaging with each business team
  • working with Application Support teams.

Experience:

  • Significant experience as a Technical Business Analyst including coordination of activities between technical resources and third-party vendors.
  • Significant experience developing and/or reviewing technical documentation with exposure across configuration, information security, architectural and cloud infrastructure requirements.
  • Experience going through and producing Operational Documents- looking at gap analysis, providing documentation and technical specifications and document.
  • Experience working on SQL
  • Knowledge of Cloud migration projects
  • Experience in technical areas such as Systems Analysis,assessing systems for gaps and weaknesses, system resilience.
  • Experience with Documentation, analysing and getting details of an operational acceptance document.
  • Understanding of PII data and the different legal and contractual aspects that apply to the transfer and storage of PII vs non-PII data - is desirable
  • Unstructured data classification experience - is desirable
  • Experience working on legal/compliance data remediation projects and/or systems in a financial/regulated environment - is desirable
  • Insurance sector experience
  • System code experience (source code)
