IT Architect

ERP solutions (Finance and HR)

£70,000 - 80,000 + bonus + benefits

Can be based from any UK office working onsite a few times a month, working from home the rest of the time.

Choice office locations would be London, Birmingham or Manchester

Leading professional services company is actively recruiting for an experienced IT Architect who has assisted in architecting ERP solutions for finance and HR teams, working in a greenfield environment.

Reporting in to the Head of Architecture and working in collaboration with the ERP Programme Lead, the IT Architect will be responsible for ensuring the architecture is aligned to the firm's technology roadmap. The candidate will be responsible for defining, designing and leading implementation of new data and application integrations and data led initiatives to support approx. 3500 users in 20 offices.

Role and responsibilities for the position of IT Architect ERP solutions (Finance and HR)

• Ensure all architectural principles are adhered to for technology decisions for the enterprise.• Specify, design and help implement new services with strong traceability back to business requirements and IT strategies.• Strong engagement across other IT workstreams covering security, governance and serviceoperations.• Develop options, supporting rationale and cost benefit analysis for proposed areas of spending and initiatives.• Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the firm's business leaders, department heads, and end users to proactively assist in the direction for futureprojects and programmes of work.• Demonstrate the delivery of complex application, data and integration services• Ability to provide a vision and strategy for data and application services• Ability to act as a technical lead for key projects initiatives.• Performs the necessary leadership, analysis and design of tasks related to the developmentof a solutions architecture.• Analyses business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements.• Facilitates and leads the evaluation and selection of technology product standards, as well asthe design of standard technology configurations.• Defines transition steps and strategy as required from legacy data integrations to modernscalable platforms• Manage and oversee internal and external technology resources in the delivery of agreedsolutions.• Align services to support Global IT requirements and standards.• Ability to author a variety of architectural documents, from High Level to Low Level designs,configuration/build guides, knowledgebase etc.

• Wide and extensive experience with complex technology architecture landscapes with broadrange of knowledge and experience in applications, data, Azure cloud based servicescovering compute, network, storage and API management• Wide and extensive experience of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams• Experience of Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Data Lakes, API Management and other dataservices.• Experience of Azure DevOps, Repos, CI/CD pipelines for code development and promotion.• Understanding of data residency and hosting requirements, Multi-Geo, high availability anddisaster recovery concepts within Azure• Demonstrate design of Azure services according to Well Architected Framework• Wide and extensive experience across network, applications, data and infrastructuredomains.• Understanding of security guidance, frameworks and security baselines including NIST,NCSC and Cyber Essentials +• Securing Azure based services, techniques and practical application, with relevantaccreditations• Audit and Governance services within Azure for compliance with GDPR/FOI requests• Strong knowledge of design and architectural patterns.• Experience of software development methodologies and structured approaches to systemdevelopment.• Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
