The SAP Specialist role at Reed Professional Services is a contract position lasting until 29/08/2025, located in London with a hybrid working model.
The daily rate for this position ranges from £600 to £725, depending on experience, and is inside IR35 via umbrella.
Candidates should have strong expertise in SAP integration and proven experience in designing and delivering solutions involving SAP products.
The role requires familiarity with SAP’s Business Technology Platform and the ability to lead technical projects in a complex environment.
Experience in systems delivery, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support, is desirable, along with knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Day-to-day of the role:

Develop and implement solutions leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Design, build, and integrate applications, data, and processes using SAP BTP.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on SAP BTP projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP BTP and advise the team on best practices.
Work with subject matter experts to create comprehensive solution designs that may involve a mix of SAP and non-SAP products, addressing specific business challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong expertise in SAP, particularly in SAP integration.
Proven experience in designing and delivering solutions involving SAP products.
Familiarity with SAP’s Business Technology Platform and its capabilities in application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, and AI.
Ability to lead technical projects and provide guidance in a complex distributed environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with diverse teams to design end-to-end solutions.

Desirable:

Experience defining technical architecture and implementing complex systems architectures.
Knowledge of enterprise-wide systems architectures.
Experience in systems delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
