Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to join a UK Government organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and optimisation of the ServiceNow platform, with a particular focus on IT Operations Management (ITOM). This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical government projects, driving digital transformation and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architectural design and strategic roadmap for ServiceNow implementations.

  • Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow best practices, particularly within ITOM modules (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and Orchestration).

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and deliver scalable, high-performance ServiceNow solutions.

  • Ensure alignment with UK Government security, compliance, and governance standards.

  • Design integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with development teams to oversee configuration, customisation, and deployment of new features.

  • Conduct architectural reviews and ensure the platform adheres to industry and government best practices.

  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to ServiceNow developers and administrators.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect within enterprise environments.

  • Strong expertise in ITOM (including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management).

  • Experience working within UK Government or public sector organisations is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNowintegrations

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Security Clearance Requirement:
  • Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance, meaning they must have lived in the UK for the last five years without gaps exceeding six months.
