A UK leading Fashion Retailer are looking to hire two Digital Solution Architect to join the talented Digital Engineering team to join the Re-architecting of their large e-commerce website, replacing all tills, re-platforming the payment system, move into Cloud Azure and Paas.
This involves experience with MACH (Microservices, API First, Cloud-Native and Headless) platform. Your focus will be to design and build platform components and integrate new microservices.
In this role, you will be working very closely to their digital product teams to architecture solutions across; mobile development, mobile payments, customer loyalty programmes, in-store Kiosks.
Location: 1-2x per week to Central London Office
Salary: £80,000-£90,000 + 5k bonus
Responsibilities:
Re-architecting a large-scale ecommerce site into a market-leading MACH platform as the core of omni-channel business. Embedded in multi-disciplinary digital squad to design and build key platform components and integrate new microservices.
You will be working in cross-functional teams with 13 fellow architect to support projects across in areas such as Loyalty, Return Kiosks and mobile payments.
Experience:
- Subject matter 'expert' in MACH (Microservices, API First, Cloud-Native and Headless) architecture to design, develop and deploy application
- Extensive experience and knowledge of e-commerce, omni-channel ecommerce, retail processes, systems and functions
- Implementation experience with one or more of enterprise-grade ecommerce platforms, enterprise resource planning, content management systems, digital experience platform, order management systems and identity management (Agency or client-side)
- Experience working with Cloud Platforms with experience of at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP
- Good understanding of modern DevOps and automated testing methodologies such as CI/CD, BDD, TDD etc.
- Preferably familiar with implementing one or more platforms for e-commerce (Commercetools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify Plus)
