Solution Architect (Master Data Governance)

Certain Advantage are hiring for a Solution Architect based in London.

This role is on an 8-month contract basis and is hybrid.

The role:

Responsibilities: SAP MDG Solution Architect

  • Solution Design and Architecture: Review the existing SAP MDG architecture landscape, advise on future designs aligned with company requirements, and ensure adherence to SAP standards and roadmap.
  • Optimisation and Roadmap Development: Conduct architectural assessments of the SAP MDG environment, identifying optimal deployment options, technology integrations, and best practices.
  • SAP Product Roadmap Insight: Maintain connections with SAP product development to stay informed on product updates and leverage these insights to influence SAP's roadmap through customer networks.
  • Master Data Domain Expertise: Provide expert-level guidance on SAP MDG S/4HANA functionalities, including domains like Finance, Business Partner Supplier/Customer, Material, Asset Management, and Reference Data Management, as well as Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions.

The individual:

  • A Bachelor's or master's in information technology and is recently certified as an SAP Master Data Governance Associate. TOGAF certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of SAP MDG S/4HANA functionalities and solutions within SAP Enterprise Information Management (e.g., MDI, ODM, Federation, HANA, Cloud). - Experience of SAP data solutions, with SAP MDG Solution Architect experience working with multiple clients in complex SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.
  • Skilled in architecture design and conceptual thinking, capable of producing clear documentation, and presenting detailed architecture strategies.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience in cross-functional teams, data architecture modelling with tools like BizzDesign, and an understanding of key business domains such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Asset Management.
