Hays is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect for a financial technology consultancy's large-scale database migration project.
Candidates should have prior experience as a Solutions Architect, particularly in brownfield modernization and migration projects, along with extensive knowledge of database systems like IBM DB2 or Oracle Exadata.
Experience in software development, particularly in Java and ideally C++, and hands-on experience with data migration tools are required.
The position offers a competitive day rate outside IR35, with an initial 12-month contract that has the potential for extension.

Your new companyHays are working closely with a well-known and established financial technology consultancy who are embarking on a large-scale database migration project and are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect.What you'll need to succeed

Prior experience as a Solutions Architect with an emphasis on delivering brownfield modernisation / migration projects.
Extensive understanding of database systems such as IBM DB2 / Oracle Exadata.
Good experience in software development - Java and ideally some C++
Hands-on experience with data migration tools / frameworks.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure is preferred)
