Solutions Architect - HPC & AI (UK/Europe)
Award winning technology solutions provider are looking for an experienced solutions architect with strong knowledge of the storage and HPC / high-performance computing sector. They provide innovative solutions within the software defined storage and data management side for applications in HPC including areas such as AI, Research, healthcare and anyone using HPC systems to solve the worlds complex problems. The role will be working closely with prospective clients to understand the challenges they face and highlight how their range of solutions can assist in solving these complex computational and data challenges. This will be as part of a wider global team assisting in delivering customer engagement, contributing and delivering RFPS, RFQs and RFIs as well as technically designing solutions for the end client. You will need to have a deep technical understanding of High-performance storage including clustered or parallel filesystems, NAS, SAN and object storage ideally within a research or similar environment. You will have experience of cloud storage and its benefits and challenges. You will also need hands on experience of Linux Systems administration, understanding or authentication protocols and experience of HPC and AI solutions / workflows. The role is customer facing requiring excellent communication skills including presentation. The role is flexible on location but requires someone with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time to clients throughout the UK and Europe.
