Senior Architect for Statements of Work/ Bids

Walter Everett, a specialist recruitment consultancy, is excited to be supporting our client in hiring a Senior Solution Architect to join their dynamic and innovative Deal Architecture team. This team plays a critical role in the company’s growth strategy by crafting competitive solutions for complex bids within the Government sector.

About the Role:As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in driving growth by shaping solutions for complex deals, particularly focused on Government Clients. Acting as a trusted advisor and client influencer, you will help define and shape requirements in often ambiguous and challenging environments. Your core responsibilities will include end-to-end solution development, technical delivery estimation, and proposition integration for strategic bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution development for high-value, complex deals (£10m+)
  • Act as a trusted advisor and influencer to Government clients
  • Develop innovative, integrated solutions that meet client needs
  • Estimate technical delivery efforts and shape compelling propositions for strategic bids

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a lead architect for complex bids (£10m+)
  • Expertise in consulting, project delivery, and managed service environments
  • Strong background in solution architecture, systems integration, and engineering approaches
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and security concepts relevant to Government projects
  • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
