Role -Solutions Architect (M365 Purview Records Management)Rate - £600-£800 per day (Inside IR35)End of MarchHybrid- 1 Day per week in the office Location - LondonAbout the Role -The Solutions Architect will act as an SME and will help design, develop and plan the deployment of Microsoft Purview Records Management. They will work closely with the Departmental Records Officer (DRO) and other Knowledge and Information Management professionals, as well as colleagues around Client to understand the current state, and user and business requirements.They will advise on how best to optimize records management frameworks and streamline retention schedules and will ensure that configuration of records management policies and processes is aligned with industry standards, legislative and regulatory requirements and best practices.Responsibilities-

  • A thorough assessment of the types of M365 assets and retention policies in use at Client and provide a current state analysis plus a benchmarking exercise against Government requirements and comparator Departments.
  • Identification and understanding of user and business requirements, engaging stakeholders through workshops and surveys.
  • Define the records management framework needed to manage digital assets, as well as the retention schedules, in compliance with Client's legislative and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop a High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) which documents how each part of the solution will work.
  • Provide a detailed IT service support document to help transition and support the live service whenever it is launched.
  • Develop a deployment and roll-out plan covering pilots to full launch, with communications and training recommendations.

Essential -- Business Analysis/Consultative approach- Good understanding of the information/records management legislative and regulatory obligations upon a Government Department (Public Record Body) and related standards - Experience in developing and implementing recordsretention schedules, classification systems, and policies.- M365- Microsoft Purview Records ManagementDesirable-Ideally the candidate should be proficient in the implementation and management of Microsoft Purview Records Management across both Microsoft 365 and Azure capabilities.
