Solutions Architect - Lead the Technological Evolution of a Leading Law Firm

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Solutions Architect role for a dynamic UK-based law firm undergoing a significant transformation. As part of the firm’s three-year growth strategy, technology will be at the forefront of achieving key business goals. This newly created role offers the opportunity to lead and develop technology solutions across the business, with a particular focus on modernising infrastructure and advancing the firm’s cloud computing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and design tailored solutions.

  • Lead IT projects, managing both the technical and project management aspects to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure seamless IT operations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in technology and market trends, identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Ensure systems are secure and comply with firm policies, maintaining a strong security posture.
Key Technical Skills & Experience:
  • Microsoft Azure: Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure services, virtual machines, networking, and storage.
  • Office 365: Proficiency in managing Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Security Technologies: Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Azure Security Centre, and Advanced Threat Protection.
  • Microsoft Intune, SCCM: Experience in managing endpoint devices, software distribution, and mobile device management.
  • Single Sign-On Technologies: Expertise in identity management and configuring seamless SSO solutions.
  • Networking: Strong understanding of network design, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls.
  • Cyber Security: Experience in implementing security measures to protect data and systems.
  • iManage Work: Familiarity with the iManage Work document management system.
  • PowerShell & Power Automate: Proficiency in scripting and automation for administrative tasks.
  • SQL: Ability to design and manage databases and queries to support applications and reporting.
  • Legal Applications: Understanding of common legal applications installed on end devices.
