On behalf of a highly respected London-based Design consultancy who have a truly global footprint, we are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Implementation & Project Manager with a strong accounting background and proven expertise in Maconomy implementation to lead a system rollout. This role combines project management skills with financial systems knowledge to drive operational excellence and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation and optimization projects for Maconomy ERP system, ensuring alignment with accounting and business requirements
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and status reports
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and business units to ensure successful system integration
- Configure Maconomy modules including project accounting, time tracking, and financial reporting - shaping the solution to meet their needs
- Train and support end users on Maconomy functionality and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Demonstrable experience implementing and optimizing Maconomy ERP system on a global scale
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- PMP/Prince2 certification preferred
- Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Maconomy modules and functionality
- Understanding of SQL and database structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with project management tools
Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Team leadership and stakeholder management expertise
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
