On behalf of a highly respected London-based Design consultancy who have a truly global footprint, we are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Implementation & Project Manager with a strong accounting background and proven expertise in Maconomy implementation to lead a system rollout. This role combines project management skills with financial systems knowledge to drive operational excellence and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and optimization projects for Maconomy ERP system, ensuring alignment with accounting and business requirements
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and status reports
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and business units to ensure successful system integration
  • Configure Maconomy modules including project accounting, time tracking, and financial reporting - shaping the solution to meet their needs
  • Train and support end users on Maconomy functionality and best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Demonstrable experience implementing and optimizing Maconomy ERP system on a global scale
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • PMP/Prince2 certification preferred
  • Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Maconomy modules and functionality
  • Understanding of SQL and database structures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with project management tools

Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Team leadership and stakeholder management expertise
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
