Contract - Power BI Developer (Visualization & Databricks Specialist)
- Location: Remote / London
- Rate: £600 - £700 P/D Inside IR35
- Duration: ASAP Start - 6 Month Contract with extension
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with a strong focus on data visualization and Databricks integration. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing interactive dashboards, creating meaningful reports, and leveraging Databricks for data management and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced Power BI reports and interactive dashboards tailored to business requirements.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather and translate data needs into visual insights.
- Integrate Power BI with Databricks to extract, transform, and visualize large datasets.
- Optimize data models for efficient performance and scalability.
- Ensure best practices in data visualization, ensuring reports are intuitive and actionable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, modelling, and visualization.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Power BI (dashboard development, DAX, Power Query).
- Strong experience with Databricks (data lakes, ETL pipelines).
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data manipulation.
- Familiarity with data modeling and BI best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical insights into business terms.
Preferred:
- Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL).
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
