Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Application Management Analyst for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will lead a dynamic team to optimise and support the iTrent HR & Payroll system, ensuring seamless user experiences through expert guidance, system configuration, and continuous improvement.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Configure, maintain, and support the iTrent HR & Payroll system, including security access, workflows, self-service modules, and system upgrades.
  • Act as the key contact for resolving user queries, collaborating with internal teams and the MHR support desk to improve service delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Digital Analysts, ensuring high-quality service delivery while managing reporting, audits, and performance metrics.
  • Drive system enhancements, analyse feedback to optimise processes, and ensure compliance with security, privacy, and organisational standards.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Minimum 12 months of hands-on experience with iTrent HR & Payroll system build, configuration, and administration.
  • experience in managing and configuring organisational and payroll system settings, including workflows, batches, and system upgrades.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing system changes, updates, and the application of new functionality, ensuring effective implementation and user adoption.
  • Experience in creating, managing, and analysing system reports and conducting audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.

What's on offer:

Salary: £205 per day

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
