An exciting opportunity within financial services Client are looking Senior Application Consultant based in London.
Role: Senior Application Consultant
Location: London (3 days week on site)
Duration: 12 Months
Status: Inside IR35
The Capability Owner provides ownership of the product backlog. Works closely with the Capability & Industry Lead and the Business Architect to understand the business needs and objectives.
Experience and skills Required:
- Experienced within Unix and Oracle.
- Experience of public cloud Microsoft Azure, ADO and Power BI
- Strong experience working in a SAFe Agile or similar agile environment.
- Familiarity with implementing test and process automation.
- Worked in Financial Services background - Investment bank is essential
Responsibilities:
- Takes an active role in all squad ceremonies including elaboration, estimation, prioritization and implementation of work.
- Takes a new perspective on existing solutions, applying architectural guidance & best practice to propose solutions.
- Develops and maintains the architectural and technical debt backlog and roadmap for the capability.
- Align architectural guidance, technology & business priorities and reality of implementation.
- Works within broad guidelines and policies
- Works with other squads to understand the architectural direction and incorporates this into the squad's plans and drives the adoption within the squad including identifying and resolving roadblocks to adoption.
- Interacts with business and technology teams at all levels to implement work.
- Acts as an advisor and guide for the Capability Owner and squad.
- Drives adoption of design and engineering patterns and best practice.
- Participates in system maintenance and infrastructure management.
