We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Consultant for a short-term contract to scope out the requirements for a new finance system. Working with a unique charity, the role will partner with the finance team to understand and challenge current workflows to create the requirements document for a new finance system.
The role is based in Central London, and will be offered on a part time basis, with occasional travel to London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with key finance stakeholders to understand current processes and policies
- Document existing finance processes (e.g., invoicing, payroll, income recognition, fixed asset register maintenance)
- Challenge current workflows and identify areas for improvement
- Deliver a comprehensive requirements document for the new system
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in documenting finance processes for system implementations
- Charity sector experience with knowledge of complex funding streams
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve existing processes
