Job Specification: People Development Coordinator
Contract Duration: 2 months initially
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organised People Development Coordinator to join our team on a two-month contract. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the People Development function by coordinating learning and development activities, administering the Learning Management System, and assisting with various departmental projects. As the first point of contact for the team, your exceptional communication skills and service-oriented mindset will ensure a seamless experience for all stakeholders.




Key Responsibilities

Learning Management System Administration

  • Maintain and update the LMS, including managing user accounts, course content, training assignments, and attendance records.

  • Create and manage curriculum and course catalogues.

  • Generate and analyse compliance reports using LMS functionality and MS Excel.

Coordination of Training Activities

  • Organise training logistics, including room bookings, session setups, resources, refreshments, and preparation of course materials.

  • Coordinate virtual training sessions via Zoom and manage calendar invites.

  • Ensure smooth delivery of classroom and online training sessions.

Administrative Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for training-related queries, providing guidance on LMS usage and processes.

  • Manage the training inbox and maintain accurate departmental records.

  • Support the team with day-to-day administrative tasks and departmental projects.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Regularly promote training offerings and updates through various communication channels, including maintaining the internet page.

  • Administer external training and conference applications and maintain records of invoices.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Quality and Best Practice

  • Collaborate with the People Development team to uphold high standards of quality and evaluation for training programs.

  • Consistently demonstrate organisational values and act as a role model for the team.




Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in a coordinator or administrative role, preferably within Learning & Development.

  • Familiarity with LMS administration and training coordination.

  • Strong understanding of learning and development processes.

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

  • Experience with LMS platforms and reporting functionality.
